1. Insulated Coffee Tumbler
Sounds basic, I know. But let me tell ya, my BUILT Coffee cup is the best thing I own. Why? Because it amazingly keeps my coffee warm for hours. Literally, hours! For the busy work at home mamas like me, you know as well as I do that we get side-tracked in our work and forget about our coffee. And lukewarm coffee isn’t nice. I also love this tumbler because the colors are so pretty. I have this rose gold one because I’m fancy, but I want the mint green one next.
2. Stress Relief Lotion
Eucalyptus + Spearmint = amazing. I love washing my hands, just to come back to my desk and lather this lotion on. It smells divine, and the scents are really soothing. Maybe it’s all in my head, but this stuff really does relax me! And, typing with dry hands is never fun, so you can’t go wrong with giving the gift of moisturized hands.
3. Kate Spade Laptop Backpack
Because every boss lady needs a sleek, chic backpack to carry her laptop in like this one from Kate Spade. Especially when she gets cabin fever from working at home and wants to go sit at the coffee shop for a few hours. And, this super stylish backpack can double up as a classy diaper back for all the #coolmoms out there. Plus, black is the best.
4. Calm Body Essential Oil Relax Kit
This calm body essential oil gets me in work mode, in a sort of zen way. Yes, working in a zen-mode is possible, people! Pop a few drops in your diffuser, and you’ll be good to go, inhaling all sorts of goodness throughout the work day. And, if the work at home mama in your life doesn’t already have a diffuser, then this is a MUST-HAVE. Please get her one ASAP! Here is the diffuser I use in my office.
5. PaperMate Flair Pens
Maybe I’m just a crazy super nerd, but these pens excite me so much. It’s the writer in me, ya’ll. PaperMate was my go-to brand for pens in college, and I came to LOVE these pens as a teacher, and now I just love them period. I’m being 100% real here. These pens are perfect for jotting down notes, scheduling in a planner, handwriting letters and addresses, and doodling. I’d pair these pens with a cute journal, or some pretty stationary.
So I don’t actually own this desk calendar (yet!), but it’s something I would love to display on my desk. Yes, I do have a computer and a phone and a planner that tells me what day it is…but something about a physical display of the month on your desk is so visually motivating! And isn’t the design so pretty with the wood?
Elegant burning candles add a flair of motivation during the day, especially in fall and winter. This pretty little candle set fits nicely on my small-ish desk, and the colors of the tin blend nicely with my office space decor.
8. Phone Holder
Phone holders are a must-have! You won’t believe what you’ve been missing if you don’t have a holder like cute this wooden elephant one. And, there’s room to store pens and pencils in the back.
9. Blanket Wrap
Oh my gosh, you guys. Not only is this wrap super chic-looking, but it’s also HEATED. Yes! I’m always cold in my office, and sometimes I’m not really cold, but I like to snuggle with a blanket as I work. This heated blanket wrap is perfect to work in because it’s not bulky like a regular heated blanket. The wrap-style makes it easy to type and do work, which is important. And, you can walk around the house with this draped over your shoulders, and still look stylish. 😉
10. Mini Desk Fan
Alright, alright. It sounds like I’m contradicting myself here with the heated blanket, and now a fan…but it’s SO comforting to be wrapped in a heated blanket, yet still having some light, cool air blown at you. And that’s where this fancy rose gold mini desk fan takes the stage. Space-saving, yet functional, the desk-fan comes in handy for all seasons. You’re welcome!
11. Record Player
It should come as no surprise that music makes the world go ’round. And by go ’round, I mean, music makes us work. Literally. Music is so motivational during the work-day, especially for us work at home mamas that can get lonely being locked up in our home offices with no break room to escape to when we wanna strike up some conversation with another human. This record player comes in a few different color, but I have this blue one. It adds a warm vintage feel, and the sound of this Fleetwod Mac record playing in my office adds to the feel-good charm.
12. Ellie Activewear Subscription Box
As a work at home mama, I live in active wear. Active wear as in comfy fitness wear, like leggings, tanks, and hoodies. The problem with that is, not all active wear makes me feel pretty and stylish. My husband bought me this Ellie Activewear Subscription Box for my birthday in May, and let me tell you, this has been one of the best things I buy. I don’t buy work clothes anymore since I don’t have to go to an actual office or work space, so spending the money on this box to get a SUPER CUTE & comfy activewear outfit, has been more than worth it. And, when I do have to go out, I don’t look like I’ve been laying around in pajamas all day. In fact, I look even more cool because people think I just got done working out (hehe). Do the lady in your life a favor, and get this.
You can never go wrong with lunch. Or food, in general. Working at home means that we can miss out on work functions like potlucks, team lunches, and, well, social interaction in general. It’s always nice to get a break from the monotony and actually leave the house to grab lunch. So, gift cards are always a win, or even better, make it a lunch date and go with her. My go-to lunch spots during the work week are Chipotle for their delish steak burrito bowl, Panera for the Greek Goddess salad (so yum!), Starbucks for an iced coffee and sandwich, and Noodles & Co for their killer mac-n-cheese.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my list! Any gift ideas you’d add to this let? Let me know in the comments!
